According to a Reuters poll, 20 of 22 respondents said that the U.S. housing market is probably strong enough for the first interest rate hike by the Fed due to job creation and growing demand for houses.
Home prices are expected to rise 4.2% in 2016, down from a previous estimate of a 4.5% gain, according to the poll.
