Yesterday was marked by a feeling of greater appetite for risk, where expectations regarding the opening of economies marked the rise of most shareholder exchanges. The hope of a treatment for the virus and the Federal Reserve's (Fed) "whatever it takes" attitude also fueled this market sentiment.
The stock exchanges appreciated and in the United States, the Dow Jones index grew by 2.21% while the S&P500 index appreciated by 2.66% and the Nasdaq index rose by 3.57%. In the Eurozone, its benchmark index - Stoxx 600 - closed in green with an additional 1.75%.
In the debt market, yields ended up rising, which is also a characteristic of a typical risk appetite day.
In the foreign exchange market, the American currency continues to fall due to market sentiment and less good indicators that have been observed.
Regarding crude oil, it has been recovering with the hope that demand will reignite with the lifting of containment measures.
"Gold" was falling yesterday - so it was faithful to its normal correlation with market sentiment.
