The euro rose against the dollar, as the report showed that the index of business activity in the services sector and retail sales unexpectedly rose, topping with analysts' expectations. The single currency rose against all 16 major currencies due to the fact that market participants are waiting for press conference of the ECB, which will be held tomorrow. At 22:00 GMT New Zealand will release a sentiment indicator of the business environment of the NZIER Q3. At 23:30 GMT Australia is to publish the index of activity in the service of the AiG in September.
